In April 2024, Guangzhou Cowin Biotechnology Co., Ltd. officially passed the ISO22716/GMPC Good Manufacturing Practice Quality Management System certification for cosmetics, marking that Cowin Biotechnology's production quality management level has reached international standards and can continuously and stably provide customers with safe, healthy, and high-quality products.

It is understood that in order to pass strict ISO22716/GMPC certification, factories must have complete and strict management in personnel, plant facilities, hygiene control, equipment, quality control, environment, product packaging and transportation, etc., to ensure the safety of products and guarantee the safety and health of customers' use.

GMPC 

GMPC, also known as Good Manufacturing Practice for Cosmetics, originated in the United States. In the United States, GMPC legislation for cosmetics was enacted in 1962, which explicitly stipulated that "drugs and cosmetics should be safe, effective, and appropriately labeled (including correct labeling and instructions, side effects, precautions, etc., and must not be adulterated)". The law stipulates four criteria for product packaging quality, raw material safety, production process standardization, strict product testing, and fast after-sales service. It can be called the "WTO" in the field of cosmetics worldwide.

  ISO22716  

    ISO22716:2007 (E) standard is issued by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) in November 2007, also known as "cosmetic good practice", only through ISO22716 certified enterprise products can enter the EU market, is an essential prerequisite for any cosmetics to enter the EU market.
